Hi Night Fog Readers, I am moving to New York City to go to J-School at Columbia. It’s very exciting, although sad, because I love the Bay Area and everything going on here. Pedro and I are still ironing out the details of how this will change the blog, but let me just start by saying, no worries.

Night Fog Reader will evolve a little, but change is good. I’ll contribute by attending SF-related shows in the NY area and writing/photographing them (and you should tell me about the shows that you want me to check out). And we’ll see if this blog, or maybe a spin-off blog, has space too for material about non-Bay Area shows and bands. Perhaps, Night Fog Reader will need a new contributor or two. Do you fancy yourself a SF-music nerd? Do you like to take photos at shows? Do you obsess over local 7” releases? If you said yes to any of these questions, then please get in touch. And if you have ideas for info you want to read more about happening in NYC, then send me suggestions too.
